Inside Beach Party: Making the Best of It

*Idea: Don your summer hats and beach wear and bring the sunshine indoors for the winter!

There's snow on the ground here and we have runny noses. It's just the kind of thing that makes you dream of sunny beach weather and blue skies. So today, we thought we'd bring the beach inside and have a "Beach Day Picnic" including summer hats!

The best part? The clean-up took only seconds: I just shook out the crumbs (outside) and we were done!

When you become a mom you have to get creative on rainy/snowy days...and what a great time you can have! Love the photos...

This is fabulous! And I'll say it over and over again but your photography is always BEAUTIFUL. I don't have kids, but think I need to plan an ADULTS beach party indoors! :)

What a great idea. Few years ago we went to Tropical New Years Eve party. Friends of mine rented a warehouse and they actually brought in loads of sand as well. It was so cool especially since there was 3 foot of snow outside the windows.

I love your pictures.

Oh my goodness -- I love this idea and think it would work even with my big boys. Perhaps we'll do the reverse and have a snow day (we live in Los Angeles!). Thank you for commenting on my blog and I am adding you to my list of must-visit blogs!

Such a cute idea! Living in Florida...we don't always have to worry about creating a summer day, but sometimes those days are better than the real thing... how fun! Great pics too!
