Recap: Some of Our Project Ideas and Home Inspiration

Recovering a Vintage Camel Stool in Modern Fabric gave it new life (above) and Making Sock Puppets (below) for the Kids only took moments, socks, buttons, hot-glue and felt!

Decorating with Carnations can be elegant if used in monochromatic bunches (left) and Making a Nightlight (right) out of a plastic frame and your child's artwork

Use iron-on transfer sheets to turn your artwork (in this case my bird silhouettes) into something special
A Paper Mache necklace for your darlings is inexpensive and fun to make (left) and framing your favorite vintage (or new and special) postcards is a great way to display (right)
Make a Flower Hair Clip out of your lovely sewing scraps (left) and Decorate with winter branches (right) to add some natural "sculpture" to your home.

Here is a little Recap for you of some of my project ideas--some from this year and some from the last. Looking through these pictures, you'll find ideas for your children, your home and yourself!

Enjoy!

I love the stool that you recovered. Looks very nice ... and is giving me the motivation to work on some of my outstanding household projects. Thanks for the inspiration!

First of all, I love the throw pillows in the top photo. I know you are pregnant and all, but do you think you can come to West Lafayette, IN and give me some pointers? HA! I also love the night light idea (who would have ever thought of that!?) and the sock puppets are awesome! I will make those with my kiddos next week. Too fun!
Also, I usually do not like carnations in the least however, you managed to make me love them when arranged like that! They are gorgeous!
