Repost: Broiled Grapefruit with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon

Broiled Grapefruit with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon

Ingredients:
Grapefruits (I used 3)
Brown Sugar
Cinnamon
Butter or Margarine

Directions:
Half each Grapefruit
Spread Margarine or Butter on top (optional)
Sprinkle each half with Brown Sugar (approx 1 Tablespoon)
Sprinkle Cinnamon on top of Brown Sugar (approx 1 Teaspoon)

Bake 350 for 4 minutes
Broil for 2 minutes until tops bubble
Let cool for a few minutes

Serve for Breakfast or a snack. You can also top with a cherry, or with plain yogurt!

Here's what was going on in my kitchen while I let the grapefruit cool:

Have a lovely day!

I remember this grapefruit post. It looked good then, and it looks even better now. (I'm dieting, and everything looks better than usual to me!)

Love the colander hat, by the way...

;)

You just take a nap whenever you can so you aren't too tired. Just know that these sleepless nights shall pass...

Your food photos always look so good!

Love the colander on head and the spoon instruments!

Take care of you. While we all miss you, we all want you to be the best you can be for YOU and for the kids.

I have NEVER heard of broiled grapefruit! That sounds so delish! I have to pick up some fruit at the store this weekend. Gotta try this!

I love your optimistic attitude! How old were the girls when they started sleeping through the night?

I'm enjoying these reposts because I missed them the first time around! Love this grapefruit one - what a great treat!
Spent the last few days with my daughter. Her youngest is teething and has a little cold - got her up every hour each night we were there. She was so exhausted. I stepped in by day and gave her a break but I can sympathize with the no sleep thing. Hope it gets better soon!
