What to Do When You Can't Leave the House

Feeling cooped up?
Rainy Day? Kids are home from school sick? Snow day?
Oh, you just had a baby, you say?

Man, I know the feeling.
But these moments are fleeting so we might as well make them fun!

Today we took a sheet and plopped it over our table, taped on some paper fish and in seconds created an under-the-sea space! The kids got a kick out of it!
Since I'm walking around with an adorable little bundle in one hand, it leaves me with only the other to make things like this so it had to be easy. Plus, it was completely free (how can you beat that?).
All you need is a little time and some imagination!

Go and play.

Love it! You could cut out some green spirals to hang down as seaweed, too, or green curly ribbon works well! :) Hope all of you are doing great!

this totally reminds me of that scene from the movie mermaids when they redo the girls' bedroom!

Completely creative and cute. We always play under a sheet that I drape over the kitchen table. The kids think it's always the best way to eat. Never thought of adding fish or something to the sheet. LOVE it!
