packing and shipping

Today I am packing and shipping some of my recent popular craft projects so they can be professionally photographed because...guess what? They will be featured in a magazine! I'll share details with you as things progress, but today I am just sharing my excitement with you!

Here's the thing.  I really believe in what I'm doing here. And it's not just "here" that I'm doing it. All these crazy projects are things that are going in within the walls of my home, with the kids around. And I hope that in sharing our adventures with you, we've inspired you to get some glue on your hands too.

My interview on MomsRising radio is now available on podcast if you want to listen. In the interview,  I'm (hopefully) just trying to get across the message for you to go for it! Don't let Pinterest and all the craft blogs intimidate you. Kids really just need basic supplies and not a lot of parameters and they are happy campers with freedom to create!

p.s. Do you want to know something funny? See the ad to the right, about the new reality show called Crafting Wars? Early on, the casting director emailed me when they were searching for contestants. She wanted to know if I'd be willing to participate. I emailed her back and said, unless my four children could come to the set every day, it just wouldn't happen. I never heard back!
Looking at the previews, it doesn't really look like my cup of tea.
What do you think about the new show Crating Wars? Are you going to watch it?

So exciting! I'm jumping up and down for you. I can't wait to hear which magazine it is because I'll have to get it right away! As for the craft wars, We got rid of cable to save money but I would be intrigued enough to watch at least one episode.

Oh my goodness, Crafting Wars? Haven't heard of it, but you on TV? How cool is that?!

I can't wait to hear more of the scoop (e-mail?)

Congrats and keep up the great work

It seems like I've seen that show - but it was a few years ago? Is it back on? It wasn't that good, as I recall.

I'm off to listen to your podcast!

And no, I will not be watching crafting wars. The only crafting I'm interested in is yours.

=)

Wow! You must be really that good in crafting to be featured in a magazine. Anyway, be sure to pack your work properly, so that it’ll reach its destination still in good condition. Choose only the shipping service that can guarantee you a fast and safe service. Congrats!
