pillow cover tutorial on donuts dressed and dirt today

I really like monograms but my style is not at all formal, so when my daughter asked me to make her a pillow she could "snuggle" I immediately hatched a plan! I decided to sew an easy slipcover for a small, soft pillow with a fun, graphic initial on the front. The result? A snuggle-friendly pillow for her with a non-fussy monogram! I'm so excited to be featured on Sheri Silver's amazing site, Donuts Dresses and Dirt today. Come visit me!

p.s. If you haven't visited Sheri Silver's blog yet, you are missing out. She's a blogger you want to know-- an follow everywhere, AND pin, AND have in your back pocket for just about anything: baking, gardening, the latest trends in design and fashion, etc. I mean, check out these D.I.Y. smores she made--everything from glorious scratch! And her tips on having a cutting garden ? What a resource to have this level of horticultural talent available online!

It was seriously an honor for Sheri to ask me to contribute this week in her "never say never" series. Thanks so much Sheri! xo
